Every year when Dick Harley and I headed to Chicago for Naperville/Chicagoland we made it a routine after picking up the car to grab a pizza and head to the shop. Visiting with Ron was always a treat.

early tank car photos
The Union Oil tanks look almost like UTL Type Xs, with the obvious exceptions of the headblocks and center yoke around the dome. The tank bolsters are also different, though a similar design.
