I'm not 100% convinced that that hole is in car. I think it might be an issue with the negative. I state this as I can see nothing inside the hole and there should be some structure there and the

Kalmbach could have kept the pages "actual size" by upping the dpi (dots per inch). They didn't.
When the MR one came out, I asked them to post a sample page for inspection. They didn't.

I don't know much about this but could aluminum molds be much cheaper and then simply not redo or re-cut be the thoughts for one run only. I understand aluminum molds wear out
