Is this the same as the former Sunshine 67.1? I built one of those, and installed the wood floor in it. My modeling era is 1958-63. I keep all my Sunshine instructions, but they're not where I can

This is a poor copy, from a photocopy of WPHS's HEADLIGHT, spring 1990. And yes, they had a dome platform and ladder on only one side.

Loudspeakers are often stuffed with fibrous batting. Crutchfield, for one, sells it. I'm sure others do too. I'd expect cotton or wool to serve, cheaply, and not degrade for a few decades.
