A number of other states owned fish cars as well. A similar car with a diagram of the interior layout is shown on page 367 of the 1919 CAR BUILDERS'

What I said. Unloading grain (or other) filled boxcars by hand was slow, labor intensive, and expensive. Obviously expensive enough for big operations to purchase these elaborate machines to speed up
