Think I have this figured out. They say the buyer paid so you're to ship, then they give you the money when the buyer gets the goods...???

Re: Rolling The Freight (1947)
Thanks for posting. Great video, upbeat and confident. A look inside various railroad operations. I loved the Potato Yard segment.

According to the new eBay rules you should have the money paid into your bank account in two days. You need to contact eBay.

New ebay ops
I've been selling freight cars on eBay for a couple years with no issues. When listing a freight car a couple weeks ago I had to re-sign up through Google. I used to get an email saying the car sold

Re: Updated 1944 USRA single sheathed cars
This list shows 9760 assigned to the Pennsylvania. Other sources say 9900. The ORER for October 1944 apparently shows more than the 9760 still running. Where were the other 140?

These later tabulations of the USRA single-sheathed boxcars are great resources. As a starting point, the original USRA car assignment details are available on this resource page.

PRR boxcar lettering late 50s
For the X26C and the X29B/X29D, in the late 50s timeframe, what would the most common lettering scheme be? I know what they were built with.
As 10 to 14 year old cars, were many of them repainted

Re: [Plastic Freight Car Builders] CNW 87232
My pleasure. One of my uncles flew into Goose Bay, Labrador, and got a tour of a Liberty Ship there. The OTC tools were still there in the 70’s.
Thanks!

Brian,
Thanks for posting the family related photo! Although Joshua Hendy was in Sunnyvale at the other end of SF Bay, my layout serves the Kaiser Richmond yards that Hendy made scads of engines for.
