I massaged the image in Photoshop by adjusting levels and sharpening a bit. See the attached.
It's great to see several gondolas loaded and on the ready track at this coal mine.

Apparently a 35 mm negative, from the perforations along the edge. Still, downloading a bigger scan is helpful. Lots of fun variety visible. I like the Q car with the slogan on the car side instead

The B&M gon is one of 733 (of the original 1500) that was rebuilt with 4-rib dreadnaught ends in 1933 (as per the late Tim Gilbert) and given the rectangular B&M herald. The car

The mine is relatively newly built, no broken glass, little weathering, clean road, extra new Cross bars on the phone poles. Wood cladding not corrugated sheets on the building, l reckon a prosperous
