I think it is risky to trust these colorized images. Sometimes, of course, they are accurate, but I know of a number of them with wrong colors of buildings and railroad equipment.

Probably the highlighting added was so the section of fence would show up when printed in a newspaper. The real alteration was likely in the facts…the fence section looks to be about 10 feet

Weird !! If you look closely the photo appears to have been altered - look at the piece
of fence and the coupler.
