Re: Photo: Pickle Car - further question
Thanks to those who continue to provide photos of these cars.
I’d be very tempted to model the FINX car just for the reporting marks!!

Re: 1st with K4 decals
I've had pretty good experience with K4 decals. Nice variety of Eastern RR's, plus a good price point as delivery is included.
I would agree that the Speedwitch now NSC are best in class. Also good

I use them as they have a great variety. They are also great to do business with. But I agree with Clark, they are good but not as crisp as Speedwitch, now NSC decals. Here is the

Just applied my first K4 decals on an Erie box car. My observation is they were thin, but the printing is not as crisp as others on the market. Better than F&C by a ways tho...

No, the man's name was Edward Berwind. The name lives on in the Berwind Corporation, based in Philadelphia. They've gotten out of the coal mining business but still own coal lands and lease mining

Re: M3 Tank - boxcar load
There are photographs of 2 1/2 ton CCKW trucks being loaded/unloaded through the side door of automobile cars. 2 1/2 ton trucks and 1/4 ton trucks (jeeps) probably accounted for more US military

Definitely Westerfield. Much better than the Tichy ones, and Andrew has most roads that owned them.
