I agree Steve - at first I thought it might be a Vulcan but it definitely does not have the pedestal journal which would also disqualify it from being an Andrews either.

Thanks for the clear photo, Steve. The railhead on the other side of the car runs across the bottom of the front side frame in the original photo, making me think it was an Andrews truck.

Here is better view of the truck from the same source I don’t think that the journal boxes are separable, so it is more likely an example of an ARA “standard” double truss spring plank
