Hi List Members,
While the image below does not feature freight cars (there are some in the background tho...) the hand powered crane shown certainly was used to load and unload steam era freight

Re: C&NW Decals
Thanks Jack,
That's the set I was looking for! The problem with the other sets is getting that '400' emblem to fit on the Pratt truss members. I should have mentioned HO scale.

Surprised nobody mentioned Speedwitch, assuming Scott wants HO. They would be the definitive set. I understand they're now available form National Scale Car.

Ray Breyer commented:
Um....the car clearly reads, "Built by Morris & Company, Chicago, IL." Just because it's in someone's Ralston file doesn't mean this is a Ralston product.

Re: [EXT] Re: [RealSTMFC] C&NW Decals
I haven't looked specifically at the WE boxcars, but Microscale has a nice C&NW boxcar set that covers most classes. I used it for my USRA rebuilt shake n take project.

This kind of reminds me of this post on the modelingthesp blog, but of course it's specific to one trip.
Does anyone know if any flatcar models or kits can be kitbashed into this car or other IC
