ACY 175-194 flatcars
I'm looking for photos of the 42' flatcars owned by the AC&Y, numbered 175 to 194. Is there an accurate model of these cars in HO?

Tim,
Any idea where and when this photo was taken? The car clearly has a worn NORTH AMERICAN logo, but freshly stenciled NWX 6834 as if it was part of the original series. If I had to guess, I would

Re: Decaling Kadee cars.
Hi,
My experience is exactly the opposite. I have a method that allows me to
apply any decal (from any source) to any paint (gloss, dull, etc.) and to
always end up with "perfect results".

Regardless of the color, that's a very interesting looking car Fenton! I am not at all
familiar with that one, especially with the 4-hinge door!

I think many people apply primer to models before applying Archer rivets, for the same reason.

Re: SLRX 25034
You are correct it is SRLX. I had sent a second message that corrected the typo. Blamed it on my mouse.
As for the paint color… That has been bothering me since I pulled the slide out of the file

Thanks for the paint suggestion. The photo of 6858 is the puzzler. If, as you suggest, the cars were painted for a lessee, then why is 6858 painted that way, without markings for the lessee? I

Scott,
For all the other NWX cars, the grey side scheme is perfect for my era (and I have at least one). However, for these specific cars, which are the SnT project car, that scheme is clearly not
