P-S riveted boxcars
Folks,
Were Pullman Standard's Bow Tie roofs ever applied to their riveted box cars that were built just before the PS-1 welded box cars were introduced?
Thanks,
Scott Haycock

Re: Roundhouse 50' SS DD / drilling holes problems
To reduce bit breakage, first, make sure the bit sticks out of the chuck twice the length of the flutes, second, lay off the scotch.....

Extremely well done – car and elevator. Very realistic weathering.

I am fortunate in that I have a set of Andy Carlson's cast sides for this car. I got the castings as I am skillfully challenged when it comes to carving off ladders (Years ago when Richard

Somewhat off topic, but not entirely. The writing No Wage Freeze dates this photo to the President Nixon-Ford years. I remember it well along with WIN buttons.

Re: Roundhouse 50' SS DD
Has anyone found a good technique for filling in the overly thick "board" grooves ? Between that and carving off grabs, I've avoided this and many other plastic cars...
I've wondered if Mr. Hobby

Incredible paint and weather job. What a step above. Echo Nelson's comment.
The roof effect is just so nice. James Dick -Roseville, MN

Re: Roundhouse 50' SS DD / drilling holes problems
Hi Ken,
When I am drilling holes in anything, I brace my drilling hand and/or the pin vise with my free hand. I'm right handed, so I brace with my left by putting some fingers on a solid item

I've misplaced the instructions for kit H.2 - the "crated machinery" load. Are the instructions online

Thanks!
