Re: Moving a captured V2 from White Sands NM to Norfolk VA Navy Yard in 1947
Interesting video for sure. That little Whitcomb or GE or whatever it is looks like a toy pulling the cars around. Interesting roof and running boards weathering on the Santa Fe car.

Re: Reading White Decals printed on pale blue backing.paper
I have found a solution....I purchased an inexpensive LED backlit Illuminated Tracing Lightbox on Amazon for $19.99.
This is the X29 decal on the lightbox. With magnification the P57 6-50 Reweigh

Notice the bow in the end door, most apparent when it was open.
Also notice that the last car on this train is a Santa Fe Drover Caboose. Several of there were used by the Atomic Energy Commission in

Yeah, I actually jumped onto the web site hoping to find undec 10-foot inside height cars
with 10 panel sides (very useful because the ends and roof are separate) but no such luck. :-(

I believe the Branchline Yardmaster cars are 10'-0" IH and the ends are separate but you do have to shave off the ladders. We used to make a lot of the USRA rebuilds for the Cocoa Beach Shake 'N Take

At 9:16 and onward, note the brakeman on top of the middle boxcar giving hand signals to the engineer. Same signal as was given by a brakeman in a previous posting.

Re: New Kit Release from National Scale Car B&O M55's
Intermountain undec kits have been “reserve now” for years. I’ve had several on order for 3-4 years.
For the mini-kit you’d be better off with the IM 1937 AAR car so you don’t have to cut

Moving a captured V2 from White Sands NM to Norfolk VA Navy Yard in 1947
Interesting load involving Santa Fe end door auto car and PRR flat car. Some good shots of movement on the tight curves in the Navy Yard.

Re: Cudahy General American reefer reweigh.
East Chicago. I have it as EC in a photo with a 1929 reweigh, but the (mostly) Hendrickson tabulation gives it as ECH. Hopefully someone has a later photo where it is legible.

Cudahy General American reefer reweigh.
I have a Rapido Cudahy reefer. What would be the typical reweigh symbol (home) for Cudahy? Protocraft has some decals but I can read the small print online.

I have had many photos from the accident and claims file of the Pere Marquette.
When there was a claim or a slip and fall, a commercial photographer was hired to take photos for court
