Re: Buffalo Creek boxes to Canada?
It might not be in Vancouver. Frost never labeled where his photos were taken, and did travel to NY (see the other tab for NYC steam), so it is very likely it is in NY.

Re: Red Caboose 103-W 10,000 gal..tank car
Hmm - with the multiple outlet and other downward projecting pipes between the centre sills, would this be a multi-compartment car? If not, why the multiple pipes dropping down through there?

On a perfectly flat surface they are ok to use. I use them only if there's no alternative.

Thanks Bruce,
I'll look at the archives. Knowing that the model represents a car that could be used in my op. scheme, is a starter for further research.

They do flatten somewhat, final result is not noticeably "puffy.”
Naw. Just apply ‘em like regular decals.

Ken its probably worth noting that the Soo cars had square ends while the car you have has W ends.
So that more or less narrows it the SAL car (which did have W ends), assuming you are worried about

which is based on ACF drawings in the Car Builder Cyclopedia ( e.g. 1953 CBC, page 270 ).
