Re: Wisconsin Central “Sawtooth” SS Box Car with Murphy Ends
Fenton no preference. Both fine kits and fun to build. Each kit builds into a different version of the “sawtooth” so both needed. The Speedwitch a little easier to build as one piece body vs.

Re: PLE 46145 gon with scrap tin load 1942
The load looks to be mostly tin cans - round and flat. I'm not sure I want to tackle that in HO!

Re: Steam Fittings for Tank Car Heads
Hi Steve:
The only thing that comes to mind is (maybe) one of the clean-out/wash-out plugs from the Pre Scale locomotive catalog. Might get you the flange and then you could add the pipe-ends?
Best

Re: GM&O 35200 Series Automobile Car
Hi Scott, the corner braces and rest of the underframe are all scratch from styrene. For the corner braces, I made a scale copy off the general arrangement drawing and cut the braces from the paper.

Hi George,
This is an incredible model! I don't know whether to be intimidated, awestruck, or both. Inspired, at the very least.
I'd like to know about the corner
