Re: LOOKING FOR PLATFORN FOR A KADEE 11,000 GALLON 105A TANK CAR
I don't know if the Athearn part can be obtained from Athearn, but look for part no. 15512 for the platform (plastic) and 15513 for the railing (bent steel wire) Others in this group may have that

MILW 6000-6499 Boxcars - Looking for photos and info
I am looking for info on MILW boxcars in the series 6000-6499. Car number 6293 appears in a 1950 wheel report in my possession. 1950 ORER lists these as "all steel" 40' double-door cars, but

Re: Shell tankcar for my Quincy-model-RR
No, the Shell corporate emblem was applied in the 1950's or earlier. The proto photo I posted of the Type 21
at Taylor Yard is probably from 1958 plus or minus 1 year.

Re: Shell tankcar for my Quincy-model-RR
Fred;
While I am sorry I can't help you, but don't you mean just the WP? There was only the Quincy RR serving Quincy and they only connected directly with the WP.
Take Care,
Brian R.

Re: LOOKING FOR PLATFORN FOR A KADEE 11,000 GALLON 105A TANK CAR
Easy to answer…
First, I was looking for a car that required the least revision to the factory lettering. Using the car I purchased would require only revising the reporting initials and numbers.
