Factory paint with Dullcote mixed with a few drops of tan to fade the paint. I need to update the light weight date and location and add a repack stencil.

Most cars don’t have diagonals outboard of the body bolster. Double sheathed cars may have light straps but they are likely there to tie the ends to the sides and don’t form part

Yes. The 1924 design X29s had charmer cur levers.
1924= short upper door track, square door stops, car builders door (three panel), vertical brake staff.

Indeed. Burning was the standard way of scrapping any composite (wood-metal) structure, from sheds to steamships.

It's not. The cable is an overhead line of some sort (you can see its shadow on the left side of the car roof), and the line running parallel to the brake staff is the air line for the retainer valve
