Since our Group has been discussing North Western green and yellow reefers I thought this is a good opportunity to share two Pacific Car & Foundry photos I bought awhile back at O Scale West.

Re: Photo: Watermelons In Livestock Car (Undated)
Ok. Those line items match ICC Category code names and finding those names plus carloads is something of interest for me. Thanks for the reply.

Simplex bolster trucks
I'm looking for a pair of HO scale trucks with Simplex bolsters. As I recall they were offered by Life-Like Canada.

Re: Northwestern green/yellow reefer color notes
Charlie
I have my doubts that the underframes were always green on the Y/G cars, as some photos
seem to show some contrast between the sides and the underset

Re: [URL Verdict: Neutral][Non-DoD Source] [RealSTMFC] PRR X31A Question
Guys;
Be aware that many X31A (and X31, X31B, etc.) had interior racks or Evans car loaders that resulted in exterior reinforcement plates or angles.
Can we see the pic?

Definitely grey with the black lettering. They were grey by mid-forties, but some remained in red in 1956. See attached.

Re: F & C #6991 Pennsylvania Railroad TM8
Hi Sean,
The later PRR scheme for these cars was gray with black lettering. The earlier scheme was FCC (red) with white lettering, but I don’t recall the timeframe for the change.
