Re: Custom Yellow Decal?
A friend of mine used to do that for trust stencils. Unless you carry a loupe for reading the tiny
letters, you'd never notice it ! :-D

Re: Custom Yellow Decal?
Because it still might not be opaque enough.
I used the word "might" because I don't know.
A very interesting proposal, though.
That said, I like my idea better. Only one layer of one color. No

Re: Custom Yellow Decal?
If it's hard to print yellow over white in perfect register why not print yellow over yellow?
For small lettering that may not be legible in HO anyway I use N scale dimension data applied upside down

Dave,
I did preface my statement with "From what I've seen,...". I am not intimately acquainted with the decal production business.
I've seen the problem of yellow-over-white I describe in Microscale

Dang. I think you’re correct. I was basing it on the first truck. Looked longer than 50’.

Re: End Door Boxcar & Fire Engine
Actually, I think that it is too short and the roof is wrong for the X30. Rather, this appears to be an X33A.

Re: NYC Boxcar question
Looks like one of the replacement ZU eave roofs either rectangular panel or diagonal panel, depending
on when the roof was replaced. Looks like the original door to me.

Re: Bangor & Aroostook Refrigerator Car BAR 2447
But you are not looking at the negative or the print -- You are looking at a digital scan of one of those,
and anyone who has done a lot of scanning can tell you that's easily
