Re: Munshaw Canada slide Canadian Pacific CPR dock yard scene
I am guessing that the gray better hides the cleanout of the manure and such. Red would become discolored quicker. As I remember, NYC had a similar color scheme.

Re: Munshaw Canada slide Canadian Pacific CPR dock yard scene
Could someone explain why the bottom 2/3 of the stock cars was gray and the top 1/3 red? If this was lime or something similar used as a disinfectant, should we be doing something similar on stock

Re: A few reefers unloading produce in Chicago
The truck bed in the left foreground looks interesting as well. It seems to have a Art Deco type of shroud on the front portion. And the canvas tarp would make a nice detail as well.

Re: stock car capacity
... so how many "head" does it take to make an HO scale car "look loaded"?
I've not tried this - but I'm guessing that if you get much over 15-20 in a single
car that it will appear "loaded" ...

A few reefers unloading produce in Chicago
This 10 wheeler truck, thought by some at first to be a cab over, has interesting wheel combinations. I suspect that it was built as a 6 wheeler, with Dayton spoked wheels, with an additional rear

The car is a 51 Olds
Apologies to the COE fan… zoom in for a closer look, I see two trucks, not a COE, where I think you refer to.
