A end, but I believe MDC also makes a version without the end doors.
The B-end is a 2(3?)-3-3 inverse Dreadnaut end.

The problem was not the hoppers. It was the hard chrome plating on the
driver's tires! After that was machined off, with no other changes to
the loco, the results were as mentioned with the same
