Re: 50 ft. Viking roofed box cars
You guys forget the P&VW 50 Dbl Door cars they acquired in the Mellon Trust. I have shots of this car and the NKP erection drawing of the NKP car in my collection given to me by the late Mark Bigart.

Re: Viking roof 50ft cars
Have I missed something? I've not seen any P2K NKP 50' box cars. I visited the ultra-slow lifelikeproducts.com site, and searched through their archived cars to check again, but didn't see any NKP.

Re: Kit vs RTR prices
I must say the I¹ve had two kits with broken parts or parts just too mangled
to use (including a roof). Both times, I received replacements in a very
expeditious time frame.

Clark,
I have noticed th warpage/breakage problem with the kits from BLT also.
I think it is a characteristic of the plastic they use. The stuff is just
more brittle than IMs or RCs. Not that

I think it was in this thread somewhere packaging undec kits was
mentioned. I've bought a couple BLT undec kits, wow, what a lot of extra
parts. Now the bad news. They are putting 10 lbs. of stuff in
