Not really, Mike. These trucks were used primarily on cars that were built
new or that got new trucks in the period from the mid-'20s to the mid-'30s.

Ok, it's time again to flaunt my ignorance. Are there LL cars such as the war hoppers that would need these trucks? Would they be appropriate for the 1937 AAR boxes? TIA.

I would regard this as an early plug door. It is clearly flush fitting and not hinged and as such must qualify (how else would it open?). The PRR cars you mention include the XL box car and
