The D&M cars in series 2700-2704 originally had 7-panel doors as seen in the P-S builder's photo. The 7-panel design was used from circa 1940 to 1952. The 5-panel design came into existence

So, I was cruising through a Branchline Yardmaster kit today and thought I
should review the PDF at the Steam Freight Cars website to check on the

The Ribside models are of the 1939-1940 built 10-6 IH cars
as are the Sunshine #41.1-.4 kits. The 10-9 IH cars were the
1944 and newer cars.
As to the roof, there are things I like about each

I thought that too, as I saw them under Uncle Dave's ebay listing. The photos that are being used are the pilot models (with the errors!) I hope they are fixed as I don't want to strip
