I would agree and add that the paint out above the PENNSYLVANIA is
"AUTOMOBILES". It looks like you can see the fresh paint where the
left 1/2 door was removed (note that the last letter or two

If you've built wooden kits, you're in good shape for building a
resin kit. Just substitute ACC for "Goo" and throw away your bottle
of sanding sealer!

Rob it looks like and X28a to me, car number appears to be 123353 which matches a number assigned to a X28a. X28a's were rebuilt from 1-1/2 door X28 cars. The X28 was slightly taller than the X29

Fallen Flags probably is the most reliable, but he seems to downgrade
photo quality to save storage space. You can store any pictures you
want in the steameraboxcars files area -- which I created

Bob, I'd be inserested in seeing the B&LE car, once you take away their hoppers and gons their freight car fleet wasn't that big, so I am interested to see what made it to oakland.
