In the late 1950s, Missouri Pacific had 100 cars (7100-7199) fitted with coke
racks. Were these hoppers or gondolas? Doe anyone know of photos of this

The Strahorn Library - part of IRM at Union - has quite an extensive
collection of ORER's as well as model magazines, railroad books, etc. I
spent a very pleasant day there last year researching CB&Q

On the C&O the cars received metal sides in the early '50s. By
1957 there were none, AFAIK. A pity for me unless I want to play
games with actual history. But I sorf of do that anyway.
