RPM Meets, Was: San Francisco Bay Area PM Meet
All,
I think there's a lesson to be learned from the
conversation about modern vs. steam era guys in regard
to RPM Meets. My opinion: Prototype guys is prototype
guys, period, dot, end of statement.

"I also understand that P&WV did their change to black paint in 1958.
Did that also involve a change in lettering to include the "symbol of

The 1947-48 built PS-1s differed in several ways from the 1950 and
later cars. The outermost roof panels were flat. the ends lacked the 6

Re: What Front range and CB&T kits have any value
I'd like build a single door car, only so I don't have to hunt
down another pair of doors. Is that what the B-50-34 was? The photo
in the magazine (my only source) shows a double door car, but not

The Oct. 55 issue of MR had a article on building a wooden Sante Fe

All,
If you want to send your comments to the moderators, that's fine.
You can even swear if you want to.
HOWEVER,
1) We do not allow 4-letter words on this list.
2) Mike has alreay banned

Elden,
IIRC, P&WV's PS-1s were built prior to 1950 (1948 comes to mind), so they would lack stiffeners on the last roof panels. Ed Hawkins' rosters in RMJ and the old DING will give you the years and
