Per diem charges were run up regardless who's name was on the car. You had one day to accept the car and two days to unload. On day three you started paying rent on the car regardless what name was on

A quick look at the 1955 OER (thank you Al Westerfield for the handy CD
format!!!) turned up NO flats for the C&S and only a handful for the FW&D.
The FW&D were wood racks and for plasterboard

I'd agree with Ben's conclusions about the P1K model. I picked one up for comparison with the Intermountain model. To be sure, the weight of the cast underframe is great, but detailing it is more
