I am going from memory, but I recall that the SP 50'
SS boxcar was identical to the NP car, save for the
roof. (I am not clear on the ends). Seems mating some
Central Valley NP Stockcar roofs

A quick look at the 1955 OER (thank you Al Westerfield for the handy CD
format!!!) turned up NO flats for the C&S and only a handful for the FW&D.
The FW&D were wood racks and for plasterboard

I'd agree with Ben's conclusions about the P1K model. I picked one up for comparison with the Intermountain model. To be sure, the weight of the cast underframe is great, but detailing it is more
