price is going to reach the price that:
1. If you only need a few you're going to do without.

Nice one Fred.
The New Zealanders loved theirs too, the only 'armour' we had until
'43 (and wore them out till they fell apart I understand) and wire and
twine wouldnt keep them running any longer

I have stripped my Stewart FTs for the 3rd time with brake fluid.
They were undecs originally and I've painted them with a Testore Model Master enamel mix first and lastly with Poly Scale

No, he didn't. It's not a lacquer solvent; it won't attack
the styrene. It's not effective against some water base paints
or the notorious Kato paint which seems to resist most every
kind of

Oven cleaner works best for Stewart models - put the shell in a ziplock
bag and squirt the cleaner into the bag. Leave overnight and the shell
comes out clean and shiny after a wash under running

P&WV had 25 cars 1925-1949, built 7-48 by GSC that appears to me to be
of the same design as the B&O cars. These are the only ones that I'm
aware of.
