These cars were not interchanged and were stenciled against loading to US points. Looking at the 1956 and 1960 ORER, I note that the 373001-373129 cars

Bill, I have a shot of WHIX 70000 (from the GNRHS 1999 calendar)
that shows the weird ribs, but also a good 1970's photo of WHIX
70635 that really shows the ribs well -- and they are UNUSUAL to

Not to start another tangent, but the F&C/West Shore B&O M53 is
similar. Though not a solid block, it's close enough that it doesn't
need any appreciable weight added!

A P.S. Regarding the F&C Pfaudler steel cars -- I do believe
the story that Steve made a rubber-mold copy of the Overland
model, and therefore he might have some trouble "redoing"
them. I

I'm fairly sure the steel Pfaudler cars were not 50ft -- it
was more like 47ft or 48ft if I recall. I used to have all of
them when I was first starting out and planning on being
a Rutland

The Clover House, though if necessary, I can make my own with my ALPS. I've
got the Clover House someplace against this need, and I will need to compare
them to my slide of CMWX 1008.
