Re: MDC OT tank car frame, was new products (was BLI vs. Walthers ...): Now Champ Decals
I've also heard that rumor, but I've never seen any evidence to confirm it. Seems pointless, anyway, as "pirating" would be very difficult to establish - after all, the designs of the heralds,

Bruce,
This is not the same car, but is a clear view of ATSF end reporting marks on an ATSF covered hopper - the clearest one I could find on the George Elwood's site. Hope it

ATSF Covered Hopper
I am having a problem determining exactly where the
end of car data would go on a ATSF covered hopper. I
did several Ga-52 covered hoppers. I have photos
showing the data on the sides of the car;

No. As Bruce Smith posted, most were single compartment 8K and 10K gal. cars (the Sunset models were 8K).
The Champ Mid-Continent D-X set is good for the late steam era. Other owners included Gulf

I just posted a picture of a Barrett tankcar taken in 1961. It surely
is an odd duck. This crop of a larger photo is the best I can do at
present. Would anyone out there have any information on this

looks very nice.
