The pockets are designed to an NMRA standard which has been around a long
time and all couplers are designed to fit that NMRA standard pocket.

I noticed a new book on reefers, focused on the 1950, 60's and 70's, by
Gene Green at the hobby shop Sunday. It was shrink wrapped so I did not

Yes when you tell someone how to do something you must make sure what you say will not get them hurt. I worked in a hardware store in NJ. People would come in and ask how to change a light switch.

so far the only one on the present market is a Sn3 one from Cimarron Model
Works. Rio Grande Models is working on a HOn3 version and maybe a standard
gauge version.

I can't recall seeing a photo of a tank car without a ladder.
Photos of these cars would make a good feature in Ed Hawkins'
publication, or Ted Culotta's (if it ever sees the light of day)or a
