No, the P2K cars are stencilled correctly. Intermountain did white lettering on their early run UTLX tank cars.
P2k has made some errors in paint and lettering but overall have done a fantastic

Ron Angstead and got 20 or so sets of truck sprues for the
SFRD reefer trucks for 75 cents each. Since they produce

They are identical to the pockets on the Proto 2000 flat cars.
Basically a tall U shape pocket. The Grandt line pockets are
short, like the Tichy pockets.

I don't have a digital camera capable of a sharp enough photo close up
but Richard's kit was an ARA flat which is what P2K now has. I suspect
looking at one of those should provide you an idea of what
