Pat, I agree about most ads in the magazines -- but I have hundreds
of photos references that are from advertisements, and they are often
the ONLY photo references I have for those prototype

Richard, Atlas has been very good about dates for some models
recently, posting both built dates and paint-job dates. And of
course Kadee was doing it before Branchline. So I think at the
"high end"
