I was surprised by the passenger car RPC and probably would not have

Do you mean holes (round) or slits (for steel banding)? I have seen a lot
of slits for steel banding in the top chord of gondolas on the SP, I have
also seen round holes that threaded

RP CYC Passenger Content
It was a pleasant surprise to see RP CYC #11 devoted entirely to
passenger car content. I sincerely hope that such material doesn't
suppress sales and discourage an occasional passenger car issue

I use Window cleaner (Walmart brand or Windex) - the ammonia is the key
solvent
I use water. I found that alcohol led to more drying in the airbrush and
more clogs. It does however allow heavier

Even the much vaulted Kadee cars do not have brake rigging as fine
as I would like. Due to the nature of the material, sometimes it's
not even straight - at least it isn't in their own pictures!
