Re: left side grabs
Pierre,
Short answer - there are variations on the vertical positioning of the
grabs (both sides and ends) on 1937 AAR box cars.
Longer answer - the 1937 AAR box car drawing in the 1940 CBC does not

Mineral Red for Q Box Car
Brothers,
I need to paint a CB&Q box car and would like your
recommendations on the best paint match for Q's
Mineral Red. I am a Scalecoat II paint user, so I'd
prefer your thoughts on a mix-match

Narrowing it down still further, Kendall was still listed in the 7/45
ORER with 23 cars of four different gallonages.

Pierre, there may have been minor variations from one car to another,

Sorry about the problem everyone is having. The link I posted (utahice)
looks to be broken or no longer in use. That's a shame. It really was an
excellent source.

left side grabs
I'm running into conflicting information within my resources here. Is
there a standard height from the rails for the left side grabs on the
1937 AAR boxcar? If so what is it?
Thanks,
Pierre OLiver
