My first resin kit was a Westerfield ATSF Sk-2 stock car. It too, 8 hours to completion, paint, decals, and weather. Intermountain ATSF reefers took 4 hours. I carefully!! used a 1/4 sheet electric

The car is sorta-kinda accurate. The sill is wrong (should arc-lip type) and it has a 9' door vs. 8' on the prototype. Otherwise, it is a pretty good stand-in for WP series 3011-3050. You

the san juan O scale vulcan is i believe a 40 ton truck circa 1915,
and would not be suitable for a 70 ton "USRA" never built hopper (
clones were built with mods from the original design), even tho
