The first cars were built in 1933, and they were built in growing numbers through the 1930s and early 1940s. By the end of 1941, almost 400 cars were in service, the major owner/lessors being Cabot,

Latest Trainman Open Hoppers
Folks, I just picked up two of the new 70 ton, AC&F 3 bay hoppers from
Atlas/Trainman in the C&O Progress scheme. They are spectacular!
Details and printing are excellant. They roll like the wind too.
