Red Caboose makes a Superior brake wheel for the CNWHS sponsored M&StL 37ish boxcars. They re run the sprue from time to time. I have 8 set aside for when my Louie cars get back from Rich

This hand brake comes in the InterMountain PFE R-40-10 kit. However, be
wary as I've seen a lot of them with substantial amounts of flashing.
You get a "free" extra hand brake of this type

I think you might have it. I could see Schaefer being misspelt as
"Sheaver", based on a mispronunciation or an anglicised pronunciation of
Schaefer.
