Linseed oil has been used for many years as the vehicle in the "Fine"
print industry. I define "Fine" print as other than newspaper commonly
refered to as "offset non web print".

Depends on how early a time but look at a period western. All food stuffs,

As pretty much standard equipment Santa Fe depots had something that
resembled a ladder with metal rungs, but with some missing. Its
purpose was to assist in unloading barrels from freight cars.
