I have a small list of verified users of the 6' wide Youngstown post-war steel 6/6/5 door. Ted Culotta has a UP B-50-39 40' 6" ACR HO boxcar resin kit which (witch) uses Dan Hall's accurate door. I

I'm glad to report that the long-anticipated S scale CofG ventilated boxcar
started production last week. 1-pc body, underframe and detail sheet
castings are being made while pilot model construction

MS Rock Island in Color Vol. 1 has a picture showing both
schemes in 1964. I think all of them were initially Pullman
Green and then gradually repainted. Steve Hile will know when
the repainting

Rock Island Converted Troop Sleepers
Just saw Walthers new R.I. converted troop sleepers with steel door.
The models are painted Pullman green and the two-pack cars are numbered

My luck dealing with acrylic paints was not that
great. The "spotty" sounds like some oils
(fingerprints)were left on the car surface. Seems to
be no matter how much I cleaned, I still had
