You can get very good detail at 200 dpi in color, and 300 dpi in gray scale. If you have the processor speed and the memory, you can go to 600 dpi, which I believe is what is used for magazine

CB&T is 10'6" IH, Intermountain is 10' IH. Branchline had announced 12-panel cars awhile back, presumably 10'6" IH to fit their existing components, but I've heard a problem arose w/their die
