Depends on the state of your track - if you lay perfect track with
transition curves it may not be an issue, but top weight makes the car
unstable on poorly laid industrial tracks or authentically

Indeed! Not on an Accurail kit. Our Z braces have NUTS! Square nuts
just like the prototype. Even the resin kits I did years ago had
square nuts on the posts and bracing. Not that anyone can see them,
