Re: Steam Era Box Cars Yahoo Group?
Thanks Don. It's nice to know at least one person knows
how to read group descriptions.
The "box cars" group was created at a time when Yahoo

Dr. Denny,
If you are the same guy I saw in the motorcar video, you shouldn't wear a speedo. Maybe the muscle shirts and stickon tatoos.

Make sure nobody gets any pictures of Denny please! <G> I'd rather
watch a last of it's kind steam era freight car (mandatory content)
get torched than see any man in a speedo!

M-53 and subclasses had the Duryea underframes.
M-15K used the original underframe from the cars they were rebult
from. In 1955 and 1956, they were again rebuilt with new underframes

Re: Central Valley trucks (was Re: 5' wheelbase trucks for new West
Replacing wheels in CV trucks is pretty straight forward, but perhaps
not a straight forward as one might wish. I have replaced CV wheels
with Reboxx and some ball bearing wheels in perhaps 30 or so

Jim,
At this late date I have to assume you have already settled the
question of whether the "B&O wagontop" will be an M-15k or an M-53.
While these two cars look very similar, and still

Re: Steam Era Box Cars Yahoo Group?
The group in question isn't the steam era freight car but the steam era box car, which does seem to be dead.
