Pacific Car & Foundry built 600 ice-bunker reefers in 1954 for ART that
were leased to Armour with TRAX reporting marks and numbered
12000-12599. These cars were regularly loaded at Armour

Recall the overhead photo of MILW 21520 on page 55 of RP CYC Vol. 13.
It had an Apex longitudinal running board and the latitudinals were
wood. The 21520 was built in 7-44 while the #7065 photo

Sunshine and Speedwitch now offer 50' resin kits, so that
helps. And most 50' cars in your era were composite wood,
and there are even more kits for that. The SP fleet of 50'

Excellant point on availability - over analysis is a risk - but the
analysis shows that, for a WWII fleet, steel 50 foot box car models
are a fleet "gap". Bowser has some of the PRR fleet

MILW 40' plug door cars
Can you make out the car numbers on these? They are
brand new, built by PC&F in 1956. I never heard of them
before.. I don't think they are type RB because I can't

I now agree with Scott... the second car is -not- the same;
but a look at 400% still shows the "weird ones" on MILW 7065...
and I can't see any obvious planks.

the war received wooden laterals, with Apex longitudinals.

The Tichy panel side cars have nice interiors, but because Tichy
decided to re-use the programing for the side stakes, his kit models
only the three original
