the index I was originally looking for the word Cleaning or Car washing in

I find just as instructive the colour shift on the GTW auto boxcar in the third photo, which would have likely been painted within the same time frame as the "shadow keystone" PRR car--circa 1956.

I should mention too that the "long" side ladders in line with the trucks
seem like they would interfere with truck swing but the cars are so short
that they aren't a problem (I run them on 22"
