I'm not real sure asking Tangent to make UTLX & GATC tank cars in plastic
should be done at a Sunshine sponsored event where Sunshine UTLX & GATC tank
cars are offered.

Re: 46 ft. Flatcars?
Ed,
First, you might try searching an ORER... that might be more inclusive than a CBC ;^)
Second (from Sunshine's all time kit list)
C&NW 46' flatcar 43001,45001 series
TC 46' flatcar 2701

46 ft. Flatcars?
I have a question on 46 ft. flatcars, they seem to be a rare and unusual
size.
So far while looking in a 1940 CBC I found only two in that issue.
On page 205 has figure 194 a picture of L&N 24560 a

Thanks, Jim! That is a great idea, and if you would, when it gets to the
point of discussing WHAT cars, we should take a poll and be prepared to then

Considering all the resin cars we have of this type this may not rock our worlds but I think a 1920's built single sheathed Pratt truss box car would go over big with most steam era model railroaders

Barrett had such cars at one time, as I have a rather poor copy of an
AC&F builder's photo of a Barrett 8K Type 7 numbered BMX 554. How
long that car remained in service is hard to tell, however,

This sounds like a reason for Martin to expand AND CATALOG more mini-kits.
In many cases he could also dispense with decals resulting in a minimum
investment for Sunshine. A few resin parts, a one
