How long did the G-70-8 remain in black paint?
When were both repainted in the later scheme?
Thanks,

Friends,
In an Australian model train magazine I was given, used tea bags were suggested as good material for tarps.
Kind regards,

The SP G-70-9 was a 65' gondola -- Athearn produced their
AAR 65' gondola lettered as a G-70-9 built in 1953. They are
very similar (the model and prototype) but not exactly alike.

I picked up a photo showing NJI&I 1438 in a train. Photo is not dated but the car has reweigh date of 11-63 (at Decatur) and could have been repainted at this time. It's a full-tilt 1937 AAR box,

Guys
Once again I apologize for the screwup on the M53 instructions. At WrightTRAK we take service and our product seriously. Kurt Laughlin brought a website to our attention and we jumped on it.

FYI, I have posted PDFs to this free site:

so that others could download them. Seems to work fine. It did not require a big effort to register, either.
