One thing i have found is that tack boards on steel cars tend to be to the right of the center loading doors, mounted high. Still not sure why they are missing on steel cars ends.

It is my personal opinion that Delano's photos all have an unusual "cast" to them; they all appear to be slightly dark. It's one of those things that makes it easy to spot a Delano photo.

That's because you can tack a card anywhere on a wood end :-)
